Cost of buying a home

I was listening to MSNBC the other day and heard that for the first time in a long time if you actually calculate the cost of owning versus the cost of renting (excluding any capital appreciation), the cost of buying a NEW HOME is significantly more financially astute. It is cheaper to own than to rent.

Yahoo strategy

It seems that Yahoo is still lacking any level of innovation.  They have massive potential but it is like they are the girl who was the best looking in the school three years ago, still thinking that they are the best and waiting to be asked to dance - they sometime wait a long time.

Sun strength

The sun is dangerous, particularly with the hole in the ozone layer getting bigger. However, I am not sure that I would like to try something unless it is proven that it is not going to be worse than the sun.

BGs

I just enjoyed the BG's. I have not heard them for years. As a seller and buyer on eBay, I think that Paypal and eBay have a long way to go to simplify things.

Motivational

We all need to live for today, learning from our experiences, looking forward to the future.

I have noticed that the quality of the posts have gone down on a number of blogs since the installation of key word luv. I think that it is a brilliant idea, but the quality still needs to be there and the comments should at least have an opinion to share.

Great concept. Just learning about this now. I think it is important to keep the blogs fresh and encouraging comments is valuable. This will give some incentive to the people who are posting the comments.
